What are parents asking?
My kid genuinely hates writing. Will this work?
Reluctant writers are who this was built for. Nobody writes alone, half the squads win every week, and the point wager means a kid can top the leaderboard on sharp judgment before his writing catches up. The league's first job is making your kid want the pencil. Skill follows.
Is the handwriting requirement real?
Completely. The app has no text editor — it physically cannot accept typed stories. Your child writes on paper, photographs the page, and uploads it.
Who sees my child's work?
Other kids in the league, during voting — and voters always judge matchups outside their own. No open chat, no comments, no followers, no direct messages.
Is there AI in this?
In two narrow places: reading your child's handwriting off the page, and delivering short coaching feedback from our cast of Alphabot characters. Your child can't chat with them, and they have no access to wagers or matchups. The AI reads and responds. It doesn't rank, and it doesn't converse.
How much screen time is this, really?
About thirty minutes a week: the chapter, two photo uploads, one point share, one vote. Everything else is pencil and paper.
